Our Live Streamed Online Meditation Course with either Bill or Catherine is a great way to learn Vedic meditation, a simple, effortless mantra based technique which takes us from dabbler to committed daily meditator. Why Mantra Meditation?

One way to translate the meaning of the word mantra is ‘instrument to go beyond the thinking mind’. On a subtle level, mantra is a sound vibration which brings us to a state of being where we go beyond the thinking mind. It’s the sound vibration which gives the mind a rest, rather than us having to focus, concentrate or resist anything.

This particular form of Vedic mantra meditation is very subtle, the technique is to repeat the mantra mentally, as effortlessly as possible. As the process unfolds, the mind begins to settle itself, there is no need to push or force and that gives a feeling of deep relaxation which brings about many benefits including profound stress release and healing. That’s why we call this an effortless practice - anyone can learn and once you’ve learned, you have all you need to become a self-sufficient meditator.

Course details

The course is in three bespoke one to one sessions over three consecutive days Friday-Sunday (see more details below). Here is an outline of content, knowing that as it’s live streamed and one to one tuition, we’re able to cover questions/experiences which come up for you:

 

Day 1

60mins

In this session you’ll witness a short ceremony and receive your mantra privately before meditating together for the first time.

 

Day 2

120mins

Learn the finer points of the technique, meditate together and hear how this technique works to settle the nervous system to bring about deep calm and increased resilience to stress. 

 

Day 3

120mins

Discussion on the deeper, wider implications of regular meditation. How it integrates into life - subtly, the physiological changes as well as practical and how to make meditation a daily habit. Meditate together.

The course gives you everything you need to get your meditation practice up and running. This is when the process really begins to unfold and, as part of the course, we offer support and guidance via two 30 minute one-to-one follow up calls and access to our complimentary online group meditations.

Courses run over the weekend as follows:

Friday your first 60 minute appointment any time between 10am-7pm

Saturday and Sunday 120 minutes each either 10am-12pm or 2-4pm
